Internships

We have internship positions in both our Washington and Saint Louis offices. Our interns work not only with our President, Phyllis Schlafly, but also play an important role in the activities of our organization. We are always looking for a few good interns!

St. Louis

The Education Center in Saint Louis is the nonprofit branch of Eagle Forum. Interns have opportunities to develop writing and research skills through working with Phyllis Schlafly, the editorial, and archives staff of the Education Reporter. In addition to Eagle Forum member correspondence, interns are also responsible for administrative and general clerical work.

Washington D.C.

The Washington Office is the legislative branch of Eagle Forum. Interns have opportunities to attend Congressional hearings, lobby and research current legislation. Unlike some pro-family groups, Eagle Forum is involved in an array of issues from abortion and education to United Nations Treaties and trade matters.

In addition to general administrative duties, interns work closely with Eagle Forum staff as well as other conservatives on the Hill. Through this legislative internship, students learn political strategy and develop writing, computer and communication skills. Interns also have an opportunity to help organize and attend the Eagle Forum Collegians Summit held annually.
